Team Coordinator Page

The Team Coordinator is the liaison between the coach, parents, players and the Club. In addition, the Team Coordinator will perform the following duties or may delegate some of the duties to another parent on the team:


  • It is important that the Team Coordinator support the coach by directing all questions concerning player selection, player positions and playing time to the coach.
  • Keep the team organized and running smoothly by communicating practice information and game schedules.
  • Keep the “pulse” on the team and parents by listening and passing concerns on to the coach or JYSC board.
  • Maintain all records and information relevant to game play (e.g. player passes, medical release form, recording game scores, reschedule games etc.)
  • Handle all aspects of regular season games and tournaments (e.g. recording scores, registering for tournaments)
  • The Club will filter information through the Team Coordinators to disseminate to their teams. 
  • It is very important Team Coordinators communicate regularly with the players and their parents.
  • Coordinate with treasurer/hotel/food volunteers on team
  • Duties that can be delegated:
    • Team Treasurer – set a budget, handle financial duties for the team; collecting money from families to cover team expenses 
    • Hotel/food - Book tournament hotels, organize dinner for Saturday night tournaments (if required by coach)

    Posting Scores in NFYSL

    There are 3 ways to post score for NFYSL and Region B Premier Division in Gotsoccer.  The winning team will post the score, in case of a draw, the home will post it.  Not all teams are as vigilant as JYSC you might need to post whether you win or lose.  Please try to post scores during the weekend they are played.

    1. Phone them in

    North Florida Spring Premier teams  2014-15 and Region B Premier Division
    Call this number and follow the prompts:  904-758-0875

    Pin is the same for both: 1234
    Game number listed on your game card in Gotsoccer 

    2. Use the Smartphone App

    If you have a smartphone, download the gotsoccer app (free).
    Open the app and you will see this screen:

    Open scoring
    Event # NFYSL:  40331
    Event # Region B:  39428
    Pin is the same for both: 1234
    On the next screen enter the game number
    Finally enter your score.

    3. Use a QR Code Reader on your Smartphone

    If you have a smartphone, download a QR (barcode) reader.  I have Bakodo, but any free one should work.
    In the top right corner scan the square.


    This screen will appear.  Input your score in the boxes at the bottom and hit save.

    This form is for your coach to fill out after a tournament or for other coach’s expenses.  They are to get it back to you within two weeks.


    This form is for teams playing in region B premier, FSPL division 1 and 2,  FPL and region 3 premier (not NFYSL), that pay for all their referee fees, they can be reimbursed up to 5 games in a year.
